But if your coming out to vacation, bring your own cow and kosher butcher with you, you'll need them to survive.Kosher foods that are certified kosher can be found at just about every super market and gas station around, but to what extent. Everyone knows that twizlers and other candy brands are pareve kosher food products found at most convenient store candy isles, that's why you see them in so many kosher baskets. Look around and if by chance you find your self in Orlando Florida, home of Disney World and Universal Studios, just tell yourself, "I'm not hungry because the supermarket sells tuna and matza and even twizlers."
Kosher Orlando means you found a kosher catered vacation package and not kosher markets. kosher shopping is non existent unless your talking about the glass closet they call a Judaica store in the conservative temple. So, now that it's, understood the only way to get gourmet kosher is to cater it from down south. Miami is the land of kosher abundance, chock full of kosher pareve, dairy and meat, even offering kosher delivery in many places. And there is never a problem finding kosher cakes or a kosher deli.
Sure, one day there will be a kosher supermarket in Orlando with kosher marshmallows and other kosher grocery products and kosher gifts but that day has not yet arrived. And without a proper grocery kosher, there could be only limited kosher cooking. For the Jewish community in central Florida to grow, there must be more kosher food available.
